Organizing free tuition centres in the remote villages for the poor children helps to induce interest in children and thus reduce school dropouts; imparts interest in learning; promotes good results and shows great future. Since they are poor they are not able to send their children to the Private schools because the fees structure is very high and they cannot afford. These children go to the government schools and in India government schools are very poor regarding the quality of education. So these children find it difficult to compete with the children from the private schools when it comes to higher education and job. Therefore FIDESIndia Society after having studied the situations and conditions in various villages, it has identified 30 different remote and poor villages and established 30 Gurukula Tuition centres. For this year 2014-15 we have identified 5 more centres. By organizing free tuition centres it caters good and quality education, reduces the school dropouts, and improves in their school performance and in their results.

FIDESIndia society identifies the teacher in that particular village or nearby to take tuitions and they are paid as an honorarium by the society. The society supervises the different centres regularly and it also conducts trainings for the Tuition animators once in four months in order to evaluate the progress and the achievements and equip the animators. It gives trainings for tuition animators on various topics: skills in taking tuitions; leadership qualities; method of handling children; personality development; Group dynamics; progress maintenance of the children, etc.,

FIDESindia society appoints a supervisor who will be visiting and monitoring the tuition centres. The society also conducts for children in different centres: moral class; children’s parliament; motivational classes; personality development; personal hygiene; importance of education. It also conducts various competitions in order to in still in them interest in learning, fearless participation, and improve their skills.

FIDESIndia Society organizes this event once a year in society’s premise. It organizes various competitions such as: Drawing, speech, essay writing, solo singing, group songs, dance (single & Group) & various Sports events. This is to improve their talents and having identified their talents they are encouraged to grow in that. FIDESIndia Society distributes good and useful prizes.

It has reduced school dropouts; it has improved school participation and performance; it has improved skills and given a moral boost for children from the poor families. All the parents are appreciative and encouraging; children are also happy and focus on studies and their motivation level is high.

To provide a peaceful and productive environment for all children, especially children who are in need of care and protection, (boys and girls) to have a positive experience and awareness of the dignified decent life in every day. To help each individual student to strive to do their best at every task, meet their individual goals; instill self-confidence and self-esteem in every aspect of their lives. And above all else, to teach each child to display courtesy for every person; have respect for each other, their parents and those around them; and to be honest, have a great spirit, and finally to develop self-discipline. 

We strive to create a “just” society where all people can live with dignity, social security, peace, and rejoicing their rights and fulfilling their duties to the society and to the nation.
